Watsodists, Watsonism, Watsocostals, the possibilities are wonderful!

Thanks David. I laughed out loud at the Holy Hand Grenade title. Very funny. I just ordered my copy. Looking forward to reading the Watson brothers’ take on our movement.

"Behind the organizational program of the Wesleyan revival was a conviction that God would move among the people who earnestly sought him in repentance."

Who earnestly sought Him in repentance! It seems that the only way we can seek Him in repentance is if we're actually preaching about and against sin. Not problems. Which we have. Not foibles. Which plagues us all. Sin. Which so easily besets us.

Go get 'em, Watson Boys.

The Holy Hand Grenade was a missed opportunity.

So glad to hear of this! I look forward to my seedbed gathering in April in Tennessee, which is where I frequently purchase new releases.

"Faith & Fire" seems to be (dare I say) a rather boring title in light of the other options you suggested. My personal favorite: The Holy Hand Grenade, and it could have been authored by Batman and Robin, aka the Watson Almost Brothers. I think you might have had a real winner with that one.

Nevertheless, I will buy it from Seedbed, my favorite publisher. Should I see you, Batman, or Robin at a Seedbed/New Room event, I shall ask for the appropriate autograph. 😉

Is your target reader a Methodist? A Christian of another denomination? A non-believer? Did you write to clarify for yourself, or more as an apologist in the greater sense? At any rate, what a brave thing to do.

Looks like a wonderful addition to my library! But being morally opposed to Amazon 😉 (and avoiding them at all cost) … I will order from Seedbed

I am very interested. I will order a copy. Do you have a preference of directly from Seedbed or Amazon? I'm willing to go either route.

I don't think I do… I’m not sure about what the differences are.

Perhaps I'll do both and see. I'll gift a copy to a friend I know who would appreciate the read. There might not be a difference.
